Board Game Achievements File

There are a lot of other things I should probably be posting about but I am really excited about what I worked on this afternoon. It is a rough draft but it is almost done. I plan to add achievements from individual games on the back side of the page so each game would be unique. I loved looking back at our First Sparks Achievements page and seeing friends and families names on there with the date.

(Updated 6/15) So I probably haven't told you...

...we bought a new house.

Update 6/15/16 - We moved out of the other house but haven't quite moved into the new one. Floors are being redone so a whole house worth of junk is crammed into the garage, kitchen, and one bedroom.

We walked into our new house at about 8pm on May 4th (such a fitting day). It has been a lot of work and more than a handful of long days but we are nearing the end of the tunnel. We have to be out of our other house in 6 days so we are in the final push. These pictures are mostly for Joshua but I thought others might be interested as well. This is an in progress post, I hope to add some more pictures later, but for now, this is what I have. I will probably add some more tomorrow.

The first picture of some of the areas is from the listing before we got the house since I didn't really take any pictures when we first got in. I think we have made some good progress so far!

Crash Course

If you haven't checked it out yet, you probably should. I am definitely enjoying some Crash Course History while grading today. Also, I bought Thing Explainer last night and it is awesome. Note, please pay a bit extra to buy from your local bookstore if you can afford it.

Stress

Teaching the 11th grade Life Skills class is a wonderful way to help me stay grounded. I am reminded each year of the simple ways that I can make my life better. During my nutrition unit I try to eat better, during my fitness unit I try to exercise more, and during the unit on stress... well, procrastination is my biggest source of anxiety and I just crossed off one thing on my to do list that is 4 months over due and am feeling much better.  I am looking forward to setting a few goals for myself to get the boxes unpacked which is the thing that has been on my "To Do" list the longest (2 years and 11 months).
